- Posting
Project
The description of
your project should be as detailed as possible. It is better to have too much information
then too little, we do suggest that you spend the time to write a detailed page of what
exactly you need or it's possible they will mis-understand you. We recommend you summarize
the project in the description field and then attach a file with that detailed
information.- Posting
Limits
You are limited to posting a project for a completed job. DO NOT post a project
that requires Service Providers to bid on an hourly rate, for partnerships, trades or any
other means. You may post a project of this kind if your project is featured.
- Contact
If you need to contact a bidder please use the form located HERE!
- Additional
Info/Features
Please make sure you have given all information with regards to your needs for
the project, if you think of something more you need then PLEASE edit your listing in the
account area. or if you need additional features added that was not in the description
PLEASE LET THE SERVICE PROVIDER KNOW BEFORE WORK IS STARTED.
- Get A Demo Or Example
You should ask the service provider to show a demo of either or both their work
as a designer, graphic design, programming skills etc. and a demo of the actual script you
are paying for. If you are getting a script done, ask for a demo before you pay them to
see if it has the features you need and if works properly. If your getting design work
done, ask for a screen shot of the actual work to see if it's what you need.
- Payment
You should put in your project listing how you plan to pay the winning bidder or
at least discuss how you will pay them before any work is done. We do suggest that you use
our Escrow System.

- Service Provider
- Bids
All bids must be for a completed job UNLESS it is a featured Project! You are not
charged a fee on featured projects and you can bid by hourly rate or any other terms you
wish. Your bids at an hourly rate on any other project will be deleted and your account
may be suspended if you do not follow this rule.- Contact
You are prohibited from posting contact information in your bid. Please use Project Message Boards or Email User Here.
- Know The Project
Know the project, figure out how you will do the project before you place a bid.
If you need more information about it, use the Project Message Board
and ask questions, make sure you are clear about the project before you begin work.
- Communication
Update the service buyer on the progress of the work that is being done,
especially if it's a project that will take a long period of time. This will ensure the
buyer and eliminate any confusion as to what is happening and or how the work is supposed
to be when finished.
- Give A Demo OR
Example Of Your Work
it's a good idea to give a demo of your previous work to the service buyer when
you bid, and or provide a demo of the work before you release it to them, show a screen
shot of web designing or set up the script on your server so that they can confirm that it
is what they wanted. This will almost guarantee that the service buyer will be happy with
what they pay for since they can see it working before they pay.
- Payment
Before you begin working on the project you should discuss with the Project
Manager how the payment will go after the work is done. ProjectLance suggest that you use
our Escrow System to transfer money. This is the best and safest
way. |
